Injury Claim

In any accident there are many injuries that can occur ranging from minor ailments to serious and even life threatening injuries. Although this is a complex area and there are a huge number of the different types and categories of injuries, below are just a few examples of the types of injuries that many people have suffered from as a direct result of their accident.

Head injuries - This can include injuries that have subsequent life changing conditions such as brain trauma, skulls fractures, loss of consciousness, seizures and fits or hearing and visual disturbances that need a high level of rehabilitation.

Brain injuries - This can include a traumatic brain injury otherwise known as a TBI following a severe blow to the head and can lead to loss of skills which can sometimes be permanent

Leg injury - From minor ailments such as road rash and abrasions to more serious injuries such a fractures and breaks, which take time to heal

Pelvis/hip injuries - Breaks and stress fractures can often to lead to painful rehabilitation and require the need for surgery

Neck injuries, This is a common injury following a car accident as the head and neck are often the first parts of your body to be thrown forward and can result in minor muscle pain and whiplash to more severe injuries such as ligament tears and injury to a disc.

Foot/toes- these can range from minor muscle sprain to more serious and painful injuries such as stress fractures, injury to the Metatarsal to breaks

Hand- we have pursued claims on cases concerning crushed bones, to breaks and fractures all of which require rehabilitation and sometimes surgery to correct the damage caused by the accident.

Knee- many clients have made a claim due to injures involving the knee, which includes broken or displaced kneecaps, torn ligaments, and even loose bone fragments which are extremely painful and again require surgery and rehabilitation.

Eye- these can include chemical burns, exposure to irritants, corneal injuries, Hyphemas and blowout fractures due to being hit in the eye area.
